Uber can be useful in Punta Cana and Bavaro for short rides, but it should not be your only plan. Hotel zones have local rules and agreements, and pickup can depend on the exact point, app option and driver acceptance.

Hotels and tourist zones

Bavaro/Punta Cana has agreements that allow tourist taxis to operate through the app under certain conditions. That does not mean every hotel works the same way.

Uber lists PUJ among supported airports, but a ride is confirmed only when the app assigns a driver. If you have a bus time, check early and keep a taxi backup.

Connecting with the guagua

When Guagualine confirms your booking, we send the real bus departure point. From there you can open Google Maps and request Uber or taxi if useful.

What if Uber is not available?
Use the hotel taxi, a local taxi or ask your accommodation. If you have a Guagualine booking, leave enough time.
Does Guagualine sell Uber?
No. Guagualine manages the intercity reservation. The Uber button is only a practical shortcut.
